Went here for a fish fry on Good Friday. A few tables in ahead of us but not a long wait at all. We got two beers, two French onion soups and split a fish fry. French onions soups were super good, only complaint was that they were left in too long and the cheese on the outside was burnt (best part). The fish fry was really good and big enough for both of us to share. The total was around $38 ish, which I was impressed with since it typically costs 45ish for the two of us. I want to go back and order wings as they looked amazing. They were super busy so the wait staff was a little slow but very nice and attentive...again, it was Good Friday at a local bar with good food.
If you're looking for a dive bar with large beer selection and good food I'd highly suggest this place- can't wait to go back! -

Service was pretty slow but there was a large group there too. Even my soup took awhile to come.
The clam chowder was delicious. The cup was pretty large and came in a coffee mug.
The stuffed peppers were pretty good too. You only get two of them.
For my meal I wanted to try something different. The George Town is a sandwich with roast beef on rye bread with horsey mayo, cream cheese and red onion. The bread was way too soggy with auj jus.
My husband ordered Jim's Turkey Sandwich. It was turkey and provolone on garlic French bread. He said it was also soggy. He ordered it with fresh cut fries which were very good.
It was a decent experience but nothing amazing. -

Stopped by here after helping a friend of our's move her furniture so she wanted to treat us to dinner, and brought us to this amazing establishment. The staff was excellent, love the setup of the place. We ordered the cream of mushroom soup which was amazing! for my entree I ordered a Jerk Chicken wrap that brought my taste buds to heaven, along with fresh cut fries (had to throw some vinegar on there), it was was amazing loved every bite. My buddy got the eggplant parmesan which was huge, I dont think he even finished it. Definitely going back, especially because I heard they have amazing wings and French onion soup! Don't tempt me with a good time!!!

First timer here. I can't believe it's not crowded. The food is great and a nice casual atmosphere.

AJ's is in the location of the old Clarence Grill. This was my first time here since the ownership changed. The new owners did a remodel, made the bar a lot bigger, they have many more beers on tap. I had an order of chicken fingers which were very good, the fries that come with them are fresh cut and great!! Had a chance to talk with Al one of the two new owners. Pleasant guy and looks like he has made some great changes to the place. Be sure to stop in for a drink or even to try the food!
